After beginning his legal career representing large corporations and Fortune 500 companies, Jeff started the Vaughan Law Firm in 2003 to help individuals who were harmed by defective products and the negligence of large corporate defendants. Since starting the Vaughan Law Firm, Jeff has assisted clients in recovering jury verdicts and gross settlements over $100 million. In addition to helping those hurt by pharmaceutical and medical devices, Jeff continues to assist individuals who have been seriously injured in auto and work related accidents.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1996. While at the University of Alabama, Jeff took over 60 credits in Chemistry and Biology which was invaluable for his transition into pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. In 1999, Jeff obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. During law school, Jeff participated in mock trial competitions and won several best speaker awards.
In addition to being licensed in Texas and Missouri, Jeff is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Jeff has also represented clients from every state. In addition, Jeff has been admitted to practice by permission in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Washington.
Jeff is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and recently accepted an invitation to the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Advocates forum.
When he is not helping his clients, Jeff enjoys fishing, grilling, and spending time with his wife, Amanda, and his 10 and 6 year old daughters, Isabella and Jiselle.
